Why Self Publish?

horizontal rule

Getting a book accepted by a publisher can be frustrating. You parcel up your typescript, send it off with high expectations, only to receive a rejection slip weeks, maybe months, later. So you repeat the process, again and again. Even if you are lucky enough finally have your book accepted, you may be asked to modify it to make it more 'commercially viable'. You may also have to wait a long time before you even see it in print.

By self-publishing you can:

bulletGuarantee the publication of your book
bulletKeep complete control of its content, style, production, publicity and sales
bulletWork to your own timescales
bulletkeep the profits from the sales for yourself.

Self-publishing is a valid option; not something to resort to when all other efforts to find someone else to publish for you fail.
